Pakistan International Public School & College, Gujranwala, is a branch of Pakistan International Public School & College, Abbottabad, which is its parent body. The PIPS Abbottabad was established in 1983. It has grown up into two full-fledged colleges (Boys & Girls) upto FSC level. It is basically a Boarding School with a sizeable number of Day Scholars as well. The PIPS network since the inception of first school at Abbottabad has now spread out into a chain of 13 branches in different cities of NWFP and Punjab.
Pakistan International Public School & College, Gujranwala is the first branch of this chain and has been opened to meet a standing demand of the people, particularly of Gujranwala Division. This school has reached the College level and has been housed in a newly constructed building on the Sialkot by-pass, Gujranwala. The School Section, housed in four buildings has co-education upto Class V and is a recognized high School for Girls. It is mainly a Day School, but has a good number of students in its Boarding House as well. The Management has started a Branch at Gujrat, which now comprises two institutions, namely Boys & Girls High Schools. It has shown excellent results in Secondary School Examinations. This school has been shifted in two separate, custom made buildings near Shadman Chowk. The administration has established an additional Sub Branch at Sialkot Road (now shifted to Hamilton Road in a bigger building). The school has launched another branch at Sargodha with class Nursery to class X. Two independent branches at Sheikhupura and Haripur are also running under separate but affiliated organizations.
